Canine Conditioning At The Vets @ Dronfield
Pixie came in to see our canine conditioning coach, Katy.
Katy picked up that Pixie’s muscles down her right side were much smaller than her left; and she was painful on her hip and wrist joint. The before pictures show that Pixie wasn’t standing straight, to compensate for her sore joints. She was sent home with pain relief and a set of exercises to carry out three times per week. As you can see in her after pictures; Pixie’s posture improved vastly over the first three weeks and by week six her muscles on both sides were even.
Canine conditioning is a set of set of specific exercises designed to improve a dog’s physical well being, performance and overall health. They help to engage the correct muscles during movement improving balance, coordination, flexibility and performance. The exercises are tailored to your dogs specific needs, whether they are a working/ sports dog, arthritic, senior or a puppy.
